Celebrated feminist Gloria Steinem has a problem with being called “pro- abortion.”
Steinem has been advocating for abortion for decades across the world as part of her brand of feminism. She once described aborting unborn babies as a “fundamental human right,” and she sometimes wears T-shirts proclaiming, “I had an abortion.” Steinem had an illegal abortion in 1957 because she said she didn’t want to “tie herself to a man who wasn’t right for her.”
