I want to state right up front that this is pure speculation. I say that because God can flip the hourglass over and let the sands of time run on.
The one thing that I have noticed is that man seems to repeat himself about every 100 years or so, give or take a few years. This is also backed up in scripture in Ecclesiastes 1.
For example, do you know that we are over due for a global pandemic? The last major killer was in 1918 and it was the Spanish Flu.
What is The Spanish Flu?
The Spanish flu, also known as the 1918 flu pandemic, was an unusually deadly influenza pandemic, the first of the two pandemics involving H1N1 influenza virus. It infected 500 million people around the world, including people on remote Pacific islands and in the Arctic, and resulted in the deaths of over 100 million people, making it one of the deadliest natural disasters in human history.
Just to give you an idea, the population of the United States is 327,973,452. So close to 1/3 of the people living in America today died. That means that if you pick yourself and two other people. One of you would have died in the Spanish Flu pandemic.
When you start looking at history and statistics, you start to seeing generational trends. Since the time of Paul and the Apostles, around the end of a 100 years cycle, people thought that the end of the world was coming.
In a lot of cases wars, plague and ruthless leaders caused many to think the end was near. But it seemed that God would flip over the hourglass of time and let the sands run another 100 years.
How Long is A Biblical Generation?
Readers Digest answer – 70-80 years.
Scripture says…
Psalms 90:10 (KJV) “ The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.”
In other words, the number of years people live on the average is 70, possibly 80 if they are strong and of good constitution.
As we can see, this holds true…
According to United Nations World Population Prospects
Worldwide, the average life expectancy at birth was 71.5 years (68 years and 4 months for males and 72 years and 8 months for females) over the period 2010–2015 according to United Nations World Population Prospects 2015 Revision, or 69 years (67 years for males and 71.1 years for females) for 2016 according to The World Factbook. According to the 2015 World Health Organization (WHO) data, women on average live longer than men in all major regions and in all individual countries.

We also see that Matthew maintains this definition as well. The apostle Matthew and in his reciting of Christ’s generations follow the Psalms 90:10 definition of a generation, 70 years.
Matthew 1:17 (KJV) “ So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations.”
Matthew is using the Psalm 90 definitions of generation in order to tell a specific chronological time story of our Lord Jesus Christ.
So, if Matthew is using it pertaining to and qualifying our Lord, we should use it also.
With all that said, and just doing simple math, 1948 70 years comes to 2018.
But it is now 2019 and are we living in the end of the age?
What About The Tribulation?
Odds are very good that you have been taught that the tribulation is going to last 7 years. This is an idea that has been promote by a number of well-known authors.
But what does the bible say?
Believe it or not, the Bible specifically shows us that the tribulation is 3 ½ years.
I challenge you to look up the following…
- Daniel 7:25
- Daniel 12:7
- Revelation 11:1-3
- Revelation 12:6
- Revelation 12:14
- Revelation 13:5
All these verses point to the fact that the tribulation lasts for 3 ½ years. Yes, a lot of people like to play word games and all that claiming 7 but its there for real… 3.5 years.
NOW…there is a 7 year period, and we can see that Matthew 24:15-21 and Daniel 9:27.
Many authors and teachers say this is the tribulation and then there is the GREAT tribulation. Yes there are some bad things happening during this first 3.5 years. But nothing like the Great Tribulation.
We know that there is a 7 year period because of the abomination of desolation that takes place in the middle of this time period, we read that in Daniel 9:27.
Looking at all of this, the time that is left is 3 ½ years for the tribulation period.
Remember it is the abomination of desolation that starts the tribulation.
So why do I bring all this up?
2029 – The End
But will it be the end or not?
Will the great tribulation start in 2029?
Will the battle of Armageddon take place in 2029?
Will the rapture happen and then the whole world goes into a tail spin and the great tribulation starts then?
Will the great tribulation take place in half way through 2025?
If President Trump wins a second term and I pray he does, his term will end in 2024.
Then there are these little-known verses that point to something happening…
Micah 5:5-6 And this man shall be the peace, when the Assyrian shall come into our land: and when he shall tread in our palaces, then shall we raise against him seven shepherds, and eight principal men. 6 And they shall waste the land of Assyria with the sword, and the land of Nimrod in the entrances thereof: thus shall he deliver us from the Assyrian, when he cometh into our land, and when he treadeth within our borders.
I have shared these before, in fact Micah 5 basically describes the battle of Armageddon when Christ returns.
Who are the seven shepherds and eight principle men?
I believe they are nations or nation states or groups of people who stand against the antichrist.
Will all this happen around 2029?
What happens if it is sooner rather than later?
Or will God choose to turn the hourglass over for another 100 years?
The question is no matter what takes place. What are YOU going to do?
Are you going to hide in some corner laying in the fetal position wishing it will all go away?
Or will you use this time that God has given us to make a difference?
Personally, I think it is exciting to be living during this time and literally see bible prophecy come about.
There have been a lot of things take place showing that we are living in the last days.
But with a mere thought God could change the course of time and we could continue on.
Speculation…it is an interesting thing to do from time to time.

If you go to the store to buy Meat, don't run to the Milk section or the Junk Food aisle looking for it!!
The Meat Section is the True Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The Milk Section is likened to those who will not preach on sin and Hell, just a feel good message, the Social gospel.
The Junk Food Isle is the outright false doctrine AKA the prosperity gospel, name it and claim it, the Hebraic Roots movement and other false teachings!!
Feasting on just Milk and Junk will eventually cause you great harm, you can count on it!!
