Democrat Campaign Spokeswoman Reaffirms Party of Death: ‘No Interest’ in Working with Pro-Life Democrats

Breitbart News – A spokeswoman Jezebel Whore for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) has contradicted her boss, DCCC chairman Rep. Ben Ray Luján (D-NM), who said, “There is not a litmus test for Democratic candidates” on abortion rights.

“The DCCC has no interest in working with Democrats for Life of America, despite their attempts,” said DCCC spokeswoman Meredith Kelly, according to the Atlantic, which also reports that Kristen Day of Democrats for Life of America said the “lines of communication are open” between her organization and the DCCC.

The contradiction highlights the continued turmoil within the Democratic Party over the issue of how to win back the majority in Congress.

Luján’s statement was also in sharp contrast to the Democratic Party’s 2016 platform – its most pro-abortion ever – and to Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chairman Tom Perez’s announcement in April that pro-life individuals are not welcome in his party.

Star Trek Discovery: A far cry from the Original Series

According to a Christian Today article, “There’s no God in the Star Trek universe – and an exchange relayed by Entertainment Weekly confirms it.”

I am not going to post the exchange here because of the use of God’s name as profanity.  See the article here.

I would also like to say although I am a fan of Star Trek, mainly the Original Series (TOS), I have no use for the spin offs. I tolerated The Next Generation (TNG).  The movies based on the original series were OK, but you could tell they were getting more Progressive and Politically Correct. I was not even Born Again at that time and could see where it was going. I probably will not watch Discovery as I am sure it will be filled with homosexuals, lesbians, trannies and God hating innuendo!

Three Egyptian Military Officers beat a New Soldier to Death for being Coptic Christian

CAIRO (Morning Star News) – Egyptian military officers beat a new soldier to death on July 19 upon learning that he was a Christian, relatives said.

Joseph Reda Helmy of Kafr Darwish village, Beni Suef Governorate, had just completed training at Mobarak military training center and was transferred to Al-Salaam special forces police unit, where three officers killed him, relatives told Middle Eastern media. The Egyptian army told relatives Helmy died of an epileptic seizure.

His father, Reda Helmy, told Al Karma TV by phone that his large, strong son had arrived at the camp at 2 p.m. and was dead by 8 p.m. In the same program, the deceased’s cousin, Youssef Zarif, said he received a message at 2 a.m. on July 20 from the Ministry of Interior to come and retrieve Helmy’s body.

BBC News – Police in China have detained 18 suspected members of a banned religious cult, state news agency Xinhua said.

The group is notorious for some of its members beating a woman to death in a McDonald’s restaurant in 2014 after she refused to give them her phone number.
